Seyyid Ahmed er-Rifai Hazretleri (ks) ile ilgili yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015f en g\u00fcvenilir kaynaklar say\u0131lan \u2018Kitab \u0130r\u015fad el-M\u00fcslimin li Tarika \u015eeyh el-Muttakin\u2019 ve \u2018Tabakat H\u0131rka el-Sufiye el-M\u00fcsemma Tiryak el-Muhibbin\u2019 isimli 13. y\u00fczy\u0131l tarihli eserlerde Seyyid Ahmed er-Rifai Hazretlerinin halifesi \u0130m\u00e2deddin Zengi Hazretleri ile ilgili detayl\u0131 bilgi verilmektedir. \u0130m\u00e2deddin Zengi Hazretleri\u2019nin Seyyid Ahmed er-Rifai Hazretleri ile ilk kar\u015f\u0131la\u015fmas\u0131, men\u00e2k\u0131bnamelerde \u015f\u00f6yle anlat\u0131l\u0131r: Seyyid Ahmed er-Rifai Hazretleri\u2019nin (ks) isminin hen\u00fcz tan\u0131nmaya ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 y\u0131llarda, d\u00f6nemin Abbasi halifesi O\u2019nun meclislerinde dini ibadetin raks ve m\u00fczikle icra edildi\u011fini, bu meclislerde kad\u0131nlar ve erkeklerin bir arada bulundu\u011funu i\u015fitir. \u0130madeddin Zengi Hazretlerini bir asker ve kumandan olarak bu duruma son vermekle g\u00f6revlendirir ve Seyyid Ahmed er-Rifai Hazretleri\u2019ne verilmek \u00fczere bir k\u00fcp dolusu \u015farap g\u00f6nderir. \u015earap doldurulmu\u015f olan k\u00fcp, Seyyid Ahmed er-Rifai Hazretleri\u2019nin huzurunda a\u00e7\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 zaman, i\u00e7inin \u015farapla de\u011fil, bal \u015ferbetiyle dolu oldu\u011fu g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcr. Daha sonra Seyyid Ahmed er-Rifai Hazretleri, bir kavanozun yar\u0131s\u0131na kadar su konulmas\u0131n\u0131 ister; bu suyun \u00fczerine bir pamuk par\u00e7as\u0131 koyar ve pamu\u011fun \u00fczerine bir par\u00e7a zift s\u00fcrd\u00fckten sonra kavanozun kapa\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kapat\u0131r. \u0130m\u00e2deddin Zengi Hazretlerinden bu kavanozu halifeye g\u00f6t\u00fcrmesini ister ve \u015f\u00f6yle der: \u201cBu kavanoz i\u00e7indekilerinin birbirine kar\u0131\u015fmadan durmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flayan ki\u015fi, kad\u0131n ve erkeklerin ayn\u0131 mecliste kar\u0131\u015fmadan bulunabilmelerini de sa\u011flayabilir.\u201d \u0130m\u00e2deddin Zengi Hazretleri, bu kar\u015f\u0131la\u015fmadan sonra Seyyid Ahmed er-Rifai Hazretleri\u2019nin sad\u0131k hizmetk\u00e2r\u0131 olur ve kendisi taraf\u0131ndan halifesi olarak g\u00f6revlendirilir.<\/p>\n<p>Ha\u00e7l\u0131 seferlerini anlatan tarihsel kaynaklar\u0131n ifadesiyle, \u0130m\u00e2deddin Zengi, 1085-1146 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda ya\u015fam\u0131\u015f, Ha\u00e7l\u0131lar ve M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanlar aras\u0131ndaki sava\u015f\u0131n kaderini de\u011fi\u015ftirmi\u015f, kutsal topraklarda M\u00fcsl\u00fcman birli\u011finin kurulmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flam\u0131\u015f olan b\u00fcy\u00fck bir komutan ve devlet adam\u0131d\u0131r.. Ha\u00e7l\u0131 seferlerinde ya\u015fayan vakan\u00fcvisler, onu \u2018takdir-i \u0130l\u00e2hi\u2019nin M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanlara arma\u011fan\u0131\u2019, Ha\u00e7l\u0131lara kar\u015f\u0131 m\u00fccadelenin ilk b\u00fcy\u00fck sava\u015f\u00e7\u0131s\u0131, \u2018el-Melik\u00fc\u2019l mansur\u2019, \u2018Zeyn\u2019\u00fcl islam\u2019 \u2018N\u00e2sir-i emir\u00fc\u2019l-m\u00fcminin\u2019 olarak tarif eder. \u0130stil\u00e2c\u0131lara kar\u015f\u0131 ne kadar tavizsizse, kendi nefsine de ayn\u0131 bi\u00e7imde davrand\u0131\u011f\u0131 nakledilir. Bir \u015fehre geldi\u011finde surlar\u0131n d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda, kendi \u00e7ad\u0131r\u0131nda uyudu\u011fu, kendisine a\u00e7\u0131lan saray kap\u0131lar\u0131na d\u00f6n\u00fcp bakmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 anlat\u0131l\u0131r.
